Personal Appearances

Speaking and autograph meet & greets with Mike Bass, in Gainesville or anywhere an event is planned.

Speaking and meet & greets

Mike Bass takes two kinds of appearance requests: speaking, and autograph meet & greets. Whether you are in Gainesville or planning an event anywhere, you can ask him.

Mike has lived in Gainesville, Florida since 1997. He wore #41 for Washington from 1969 to 1975, scored the team's only touchdown in Super Bowl VII, and was inducted into the Washington Commanders Ring of Fame in 2022. That is the story a room comes to hear.

What to send first

Start with four things: the date, the place, the audience, and what the event is. A banquet, a reunion, a team night and a charity dinner each call for something different, so say which one yours is.

Meet & greets are booked on Millions, Mike's partner. For speaking, send those four details through the contact page. Fees and dates are not set on this page.

Where Mike has spoken

In 2022 Mike gave the induction speech when he went into the Washington Commanders Ring of Fame, at the season opener at FedExField. In 2024 he spoke at the 1975 University of Michigan championship team reunion, and the video is published on his own pages.

His talks draw on Michigan, Washington, the Super Bowl and the people who shaped his career. One line he returns to is Lombardi's advice to “Act like you've been there before.”

Washington's #41 from 1969 to 1975, one of the 70 Greatest Redskins, and a 2022 Ring of Fame inductee. Meet & greets are booked through Mike's partner, Millions.
